Normal clutch backs on nameplates and insignias fall off all the time. The incredible Klench replaces normal clutch backs for insignias and nameplates. Here's why they work better:

Urethane is injected into the center of the clutch back styled frame. The urethane holds the insignia pin is extremely tough and resistant to wear. When penetrated, it wants to return to its original sold state. Therefore, the longer a pin is held by the fastener, the tighter it will be held.

I've found that these clutch backs wear out fairly quick. The first couple of times I used them they were great. After that,they fit sloppy and seemed to continue to slide off. Even after letting them set by themselves to see if the hole closed back up. For the price I'm reluctant to keep using them.
